About the role

We're looking for a versatile, hands-on Task Force Manager to support hotel operations across a portfolio of properties throughout New England. This role is built for a hospitality leader who thrives on variety — someone who can walk into a new property, quickly read the room, and jump in to stabilize, support, and elevate performance during transitions, leadership gaps, or peak demand periods.

Responsibilities

  • Provide interim leadership and hands-on operational support at assigned properties as needed
  • Function as General Manager or Innkeeper depending on the assignment and the property's operational structure
  • Manage day-to-day hotel operations, keeping service quality, operating standards, and financial goals on track
  • Diagnose operational challenges quickly and roll out both quick fixes and longer-term improvements
  • Oversee all core departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage, bringing hands-on expertise to each
  • Ensure compliance with operating standards, safety regulations, and company policy
  • Support staffing, training, performance management, and team development
  • Partner with ownership and corporate leadership to deliver consistent guest experiences and results
  • Travel across New England to wherever you're needed, sometimes on short notice, for assignments of varying length
  • Read and manage a P&L with confidence, owning expense and labor controls
  • Apply working knowledge of sales processes and revenue strategy

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of Department Head or Assistant General Manager experience in a full-service hotel
  • Well-rounded, cross-departmental experience — you've worked in and understand how every part of a hotel runs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving instincts
  • A track record of adapting fast and leading through change
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout New England with a flexible schedule
  • Solid financial and operational acumen
  • The ability to build trust and credibility with a new team fast

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of sales processes and revenue strategy

Skills

  • Interim leadership and hands-on operational support
  • Day-to-day hotel operations management
  • Department oversight and cross-departmental experience
  • Operational challenge diagnosis and improvement implementation
  • Compliance with operating standards, safety regulations, and company policy
  • Staffing, training, performance management, and team development
  • Collaboration with ownership and corporate leadership
  • Travel and flexibility
  • Financial and operational acumen
  • Building trust and credibility with a new team

Benefits

  • Earned paid time off
  • Employer-contribution medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Optional life insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Optional 401(k) with employer match
  • Employee discounts at participating hotels
  • On-demand pay option
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Performance bonuses tied to guest satisfaction scores
  • Strong internal growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding hotel group
