Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with senior care facilities open to ministry opportunities.
  • Develop programs such as personal visits, Bible studies, and church services for senior residents.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to support ministry efforts.
  • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship for volunteers.
  • Direct and manage the activities of the regional ministry.
  • Ensure the ministry aligns with GSM’s mission and standards.
  • Raise financial support to sustain personal salary and ministry needs.

Requirements

  • A personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Passion for serving seniors in care facilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers effectively.
  • Proficiency in teaching and applying Scripture in a way that resonates with senior residents.
  • A heartfelt burden for residents in senior care facilities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Bible/Theology.
  • A proven record of successful ministry experience within a local church body or other church/para-church ministry organization.

Pay

About the Role

The Regional Director leads and manages ministry efforts, focusing on outreach and spiritual care for seniors in care facilities. This includes building relationships with facility partners, developing faith-based programs, recruiting and mentoring volunteers, overseeing regional ministry operations, and ensuring alignment with GSM’s mission.
