About the role

As a Regional Director of Enrollment at Galen College of Nursing, you will provide leadership in managing, enhancing, and planning all aspects of the student recruitment, admission, and placement processes. You will maintain a positive, team-oriented approach to ensure each campus Admissions department proactively achieves admission and placement goals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report progress of each campus/individual Admission Representative.
  • Develop system recruitment and admission training procedures.
  • Provide support and ongoing training for Admissions Managers and Admission Representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new Admission Representatives as needed.
  • Increase communications and motivation among Admissions Representatives.
  • Define and evaluate position descriptions for Admission Representatives.
  • Implement follow-up procedures and provide feedback to improve the admissions process.
  • Develop and plan annual training meetings for Regional Admission Representatives.
  • Attend management training and recruitment-related seminars.
  • Improve and increase high school marketing in all Galen Regional campus markets.
  • Assist with developing admissions/recruitment-related forms for the company intranet.
  • Work with VP of Enrollment Management in developing and updating admission and recruitment materials.
  • Approve foreign transcripts and proof of graduation for high school and GED.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five plus years of successful sales and management experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated managerial and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of college admissions, preferably with professional work experience.

Work Environment

  • 60% travel required, 40% work from home or local campus.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours at a time.
  • Minimal supervision.
