- Lead Community Life, Wellness & Memory Care Strategy
- Ensures programs reflect a person-centered, holistic wellness approach
- Integrates engagement and wellness into the overall resident experience
- Create opportunities for and sources volunteers
- Drive Program Excellence & Consistency
- Establishes standards and ensures consistent execution of high-quality programming
- Maintains compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure quality, compliance & operational alignment
- Lead, Develop & Support Teams
- Provides direction, guidance, and development to leaders and teams
- Supports facility leadership with talent strategies
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence

JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET— Regional Director of Community Engagement & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field
- Experience: 2 plus years of experience in senior living, senior services or serving special needs populations with experience supporting memory care and/or dementia focused programming
- Mental: Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills; ability to speak, read, write and understand English; ability to make self-understood
- Skills: Good computer skills with basic professional computer software; capacity for learning new software systems; self-directed with excellent organizational skills; ability to manage tasks and assignments concurrently; successful leader in complex environments; strong motivational skills and high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ)
- Licensure: Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required
