Regional Director

Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Operations, the Regional Director oversees, grows, and advances Athletico’s team members within an assigned region. This role ensures exceptional patient care, cultivates relationships, and maintains a focus on exceeding metric and goal expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, goal-setting, and P&L analysis for individual clinics and the region to drive business growth.
• Analyze monthly and annual Profit and Loss statements to achieve targeted financial results and growth.
• Project business volumes and demands to align labor force planning and staffing models with business needs, influencing profitability.
• Develop high-quality business plans and strategies aligned with Athletico’s short- and long-term objectives, including relationship-building plans for new patient referrals and clinical specialty services.
• Oversee clinical and administrative operations, including CAPEX expenditures, facility management, build-outs, and potential relocations.
• Collaborate with Resource Center departments to facilitate regional and clinical growth opportunities.
• Develop and manage staff through hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary processes while maintaining morale and motivation.
• Provide direct patient care on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical operations experience preferred.
• 1+ year of Clinic Manager experience preferred.
• Current State Physical or Occupational Therapist Professional License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Pay

Full-time (40-hour) salaried position with a base pay range of $133,600–$167,000 per year. Additional pay (e.g., incentives, GAP, overtime, stipends) may apply based on program rules and location. Individual base pay depends on role complexity, responsibilities, experience, and skills.
