Regional Cost Accountant - Pasco/Othello, WA

About the role

This role determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports.
• Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.
• Performs accounting for price variances and overhead recovery on a regular basis.
• Updates standard costs on a regular basis; sets up standard costs for new products.
• Time management skills to complete all required tasks.
• Provide efficient analysis and supporting details of requests.
• Update both Pasco and Othello’s daily cost reports.

Qualifications

• Typical Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
• Relevant Experience: 3+ years related experience and/or training
• This is an intermediate-level position to the Cost Accounting job family requiring a broad understanding of Accounting fundamentals and principles. Work is varied and moderately complex. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required.

Pay

Wage range: $75,000 - $85,000 plus annual incentive plan eligibility. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

Location: 3 days per week in Pasco, WA and 2 days per week in Othello, WA (GF Plant - Pasco, United States).
