Position
Monitor financial performance for the district and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls. Serve as a resource for the financial and operational teams within the branches, as well as a resource for the Corporate Finance team and District operations leadership, including knowledge of the local ERP system and acquisition integration.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with Regional Directors to monitor and improve district financial performance.
- Provide support, assistance, and training to branch accounting staff on internal controls, local ERP systems, operations, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the integrity of local ERP systems and data submitted to the corporate accounting group.
- Organize and oversee weekly cycle counting and annual full physical inventory counts.
- Manage financial statement reviews with branch personnel to ensure variance reporting and analysis of year to date results, helping districts achieve budget objectives and initiating corrective actions.
- Assist outside insurance, government & accounting auditors as needed.
- Aid in the coordination of external audit processes.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting/business/finance preferred, CPA preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on managerial accounting experience required
- Experience with multi-unit organizational structures strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems required
