Regional CO2 Class B Tanker Driver

About the role

We are hiring a Microbulk Driver in Oakland, NJ for our Bulk cryo logistics division specializing in CO2. The position involves driving a CDL B rated, day-cab tanker truck, traveling 50-75% of the time within the region including layovers with 1-2 weeks prior notice. Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluation and complete all required documentation of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis, following the company operation procedure.
• Responsible for the safe and accurate loading/unloading and transporting of CO2 products, obtaining required signatures from customers as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with active HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years.
• Able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving in Metro NYC & Tri-State area as well as the Greater Boston area.
• CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday shift will vary depending on travel. Occasional weekend availability required.
