About the Role

The Regional Clinical Director is a management-level position responsible for overseeing the Plano and Mesquite clinics (on-site and office-based). This role involves direct supervision of clinic-level staff and leadership to ensure quality, cost-effective therapeutic and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure quality, cost-effective therapeutic and rehabilitation services.
• Conduct community marketing to increase awareness of CFGC and educate partners about agency services. Marketing occurs face-to-face in the community by scheduled appointments unless otherwise directed.
• Serve as CFGC liaison to area committees and initiatives to promote visibility and access to services.
• Manage daily clinic functions to ensure productivity.
• Provide direct supervision for all assigned employees, including LPHAs, QMHP-CS, MH interns, and front office personnel. Responsibilities include:
  • Billing log submission/auditing
  • Clinical documentation auditing (internal/external)
  • Tracking authorizations for services (all payers)
  • Completion of reports (authorization, missing notes, missing times, etc.)
  • Mileage/expense report auditing
  • Sign-off on medical record requests
• Conduct individual meetings with each assigned employee (minimum once per month) and team meetings/training (minimum once per month per clinic). Documentation of meetings is due within one week.
• Coordinate in-service educational opportunities to meet contract and accreditation requirements and promote professional development.
• Assist in training and orientation for new hires in clinical services.
• Maintain compliance with ethical, state, and federal codes and requirements.
• Maintain all case records (notes, treatment plans, etc.) in accordance with agency standards, ensuring accuracy and legality.
• Utilize client tracking systems (e.g., MediSoft) to ensure accurate collection, reporting, and analysis of client services and billing.
• Maintain professional certification and/or licensure.
• Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance.
• Ensure access to reliable transportation and a working phone for service delivery (eligible for phone reimbursement).
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Mental Health Programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience and/or mental health training (experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance.
• Preferred licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC-S, or LMSW.

Skills

• Knowledge and experience in case management, skills training, and symptom management for individuals with mental illness.
• Ability to assess individual needs, coordinate services, and communicate effectively with staff and clients.
• Knowledge of the social services system and ability to connect individuals and families with appropriate services.
• Strong written communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
• Ability to think clearly and logically in potentially dangerous or emotional situations.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently (up to 90% of the time) sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs (if an elevator is unavailable).
• Frequently (up to 90% of the time) talk, listen, and speak clearly in person and via telephone.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
