Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver

About the role

Economy Transportation and Logistics, located in Houston, TX, is hiring immediately for experienced Regional Class A CDL Truck Drivers. The company hauls a variety of loads including tankers, ISO containers, flatbeds, and dry vans.

Responsibilities

• Operate sleeper trucks pulling tankers, ISO containers, flatbeds, and dry van trailers.
• Perform manual load/unload, load securement, and tarping as required.
• Follow primary routes from Houston to West Texas (Andrews, Big Spring, Odessa) and into New Mexico oil wells and facilities; occasional routes to Golden Crescent/Port Lavaca, Florida, and Arizona.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Texas Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable oilfield tractor/trailer or OTR experience.
• Experience operating a 10‑speed manual transmission.
• Recent driving experience within the last 12 months.
• Valid and current DOT Medical Examiner’s certification.
• Willing to receive hands‑on, on‑the‑job training for ISO and tanker trailers.

• Hourly pay with overtime; weekly earnings range from $1,400 to $3,900 (average ≈ $2,100).

Schedule

• Home every other night.
• Sleeper trucks used for regional runs.
