About the role
Regional Operations Business Partner for Continuous Improvement overseeing planning and implementation of strategy to support overall performance improvement programs. You will advise plant leadership on strategic and tactical direction, coach and mentor manufacturing staff on continuous improvement methodology, tools, root-cause analysis, and waste reduction to achieve sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the regional continuous improvement process (behaviors, attitude, and culture), working with staff and operations to develop, implement, and sustain a program based on lean principles that supports plant goals and targets.
- Support the operator technical training program through coordination with the Training Lead and Operations.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with technical resources to drive efficiencies and best practices.
- Teach and model root cause analysis, problem-solving, actions to prevent recurrence, standard work, and follow-up. Serve as an expert in these areas, engaging others with authority and confidence.
- Act as a change agent, challenging existing processes that create waste and non-value-added work.
- Coach, guide, and/or lead cross-functional teams to resolve assigned projects.
- Lead focused efforts for breakthrough and incremental improvements in process, department, and/or line-specific opportunities to meet and exceed plant operational performance metrics.
- Monitor data and metrics to identify areas of waste and prioritize the development and implementation of solutions.
- Teach and model tools and concepts of Lean Thinking and Six Sigma; facilitate kaizen events.
- Provide appropriate documentation and project update communication to Operations leadership.
- Collaborate with all departments and individuals affected by continuous improvement projects.
- Share best practices and build relationships across all Bob Evans Farms facilities, including external manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful leadership in executing continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma efforts, driving efficiency, effectiveness, and tangible financial benefit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel 50%.

Pay
$99,119 - $154,626 per year.
