Regional Business Manager

The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF-USA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that raises funds for schools and educational programs serving underprivileged children in Pakistan. It supports The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in Pakistan, one of South Asia’s largest and most respected education-focused nonprofits, which designs, builds, and operates schools across the country. TCF-USA works through regional Support Groups across the United States to drive fundraising and community outreach. TCF currently educates 320,000 students in 2,261 school units in over 100 towns and cities, employing more than 19,000 staff, including 16,500 teachers. Over 87% of every dollar received by TCF-USA typically goes directly to education programs, including initiatives that have empowered 293,000 adult women through the Agahi Program.

About the role

The Regional Business Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and growing TCF-USA’s operations, fundraising, and outreach within an assigned region. This role includes developing and executing regional strategies to meet fundraising targets, cultivating relationships with donors, partners, and community organizations, and supporting local Support Groups with planning and implementation of events and campaigns. The Regional Business Manager will monitor performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with national leadership to align regional activities with organizational goals.

On a day-to-day basis, the role involves coordinating virtual and in-person meetings, guiding volunteers, managing regional budgets, and ensuring compliance with TCF-USA policies and nonprofit regulations. The Regional Business Manager will also help strengthen TCF-USA’s brand presence in the region through community engagement and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in regional or territory management, business development, or nonprofit program management, preferably within fundraising or community outreach contexts.
• Strong skills in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and donor stewardship, with the ability to collaborate effectively with volunteers, partners, and community leaders.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and executing events and campaigns, including budgeting, timeline management, and performance tracking.
• Solid communication skills, including the ability to present to groups, prepare clear reports, and use digital tools (email, CRM systems, video conferencing) to manage remote work.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret regional data, identify opportunities for growth, and make informed recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving organizational needs and regional conditions.
• Understanding of nonprofit operations, compliance, and ethics; prior experience in education or international development is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
