About the role
The Regional Business Manager leads a team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists to drive sales results, align with company strategies, and manage a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Drive and execute the Company/Brand strategies to achieve sustainable sales results.
- Set expectations for the team and ensure cross-functional account planning and customer engagement strategy implementation.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists through regular field coaching and feedback.
- Identify high-potential TSSs and prepare them for future growth/success; facilitate their participation in developmental activities.
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, track performance, and implement actions that maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Address performance opportunities proactively and work with leadership and HR to ensure timely documentation.
- Establish and develop relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Prepare for and participate in National/Regional POA’s and conduct regular sales meetings/teleconferences.
- Contribute to commercial planning sessions by representing the needs of customers and sales team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; sales/marketing or science related discipline preferred.
- 5-7 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience; 3+ years of management experience required.
- Dermatology, Specialty, or Immunology experience required; selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable (or office administered IC) biologics experience required.
- Experience managing in a complex reimbursement, challenging product access environment inclusive of specialty pharmacy distributed medicines.
- Documented record of accomplishment and success in sales.
- Knowledge of marketing, Market Access, and pharma economic principles.
- Excellent computer skills; strong knowledge of Excel/sales reporting software.
- Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence; satisfactory driving record required.
- Live within or reasonably close to Region geography boundaries and able to travel within and external to assigned Region; some nights, weekends, and overnight travel may be required.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $185,000 - $220,000 per year. Salary varies based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
