Regional Assistant Plant Controller

About the role

This role is Nashville-based with up to 20% travel. You will work directly with the Regional Plant Controller to bring financial rigor to a manufacturing environment that is ready for it. This is a builder role, not a maintenance role.

Immediate Priorities (First 90 Days)

• Stabilize basic accounting processes across the region
• Improve standard costing accuracy and methodology
• Strengthen inventory control practices and reduce exposure

Key Responsibilities

• Anual operating plan, monthly/rolling forecast, weekly R&O, and bridge processes
• Interpretive and predictive financial support to operations leadership
• CapEx business cases and financial justifications
• Inventor control optimization across multi-site locations
• Standard costing proper inventory valuation, variance analysis, cost accuracy
• Standardized accounting processes implement and enforce across multi-site operations
• Cross-functional collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain

Candidate Profile

• Required 5+ years in accounting or finance
• Manufacturing background standard cost environment specifically
• Hands-on with inventory management and cost accounting
• Comfortable with ~20% regional travel
• STRONG PLUS: ERP implementation experience any phase, any system
• Public accounting background (2+ years)
• CPA
