The Role
- Ensure all SOX requirements are met, including quarterly testing and reporting.
- Analyze and update customer pricing and material costing.
- Aid in the plant physical inventory process.
- Analyze accruals and account reconciliations.
- Aid in the preparation of budget and forecasts.
- Resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Analyze department checkbooks and recommend financial actions.
- Oversee fixed asset system and lease system to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Prepare and assist in journal entries for month end close process.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with SOX compliance
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products
Bonus If You Have
- Familiarity with Plex ERP system
- Experience with SAGE fixed asset software
- Experience with Lease Accounting ASC842
