Regional Annuity Specialist
About the role
As a Regional Annuity Specialist at Schwab, you will serve as a key resource for financial consultants, providing specialized knowledge and expertise on annuity products and solutions. Your role is to help clients achieve their retirement and income goals by delivering guidance on annuities as part of a broader wealth management strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on annuity products, providing credible, specialized guidance to advisors and clients.
- Educate and coach financial consultants on annuity solutions, transferring knowledge and building capability beyond individual advisory work.
- Collaborate with product development, operations, and wealth specialists to ensure solutions remain aligned, accurate, and up to date.
- Communicate complex financial concepts by simplifying product features and educating both consultants and clients, ensuring clarity in guidance.
- Build trust and continuity in client interactions, enabling tailored recommendations that enhance both the client experience and advisor effectiveness.
Requirements
- Product Expertise: Deep product expertise required to provide credible, specialized guidance to advisors and clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to communicate complex financial concepts by simplifying product features and educating both consultants and clients.
- Organization: Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 6 or 7 license
- Active FINRA Series 63 license (or equivalent)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Life & Health Insurance License (obtainable within the first 120 days)
- Advanced degrees or certifications including CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®
