About the role
As a Regional Annuity Specialist at Charles Schwab Insurance Services (CSIS), you will serve as a key resource for financial consultants, providing specialized knowledge and expertise on annuity products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on annuity products, providing credible, specialized guidance to advisors and clients.
- Help clients achieve their retirement and income goals by delivering guidance on annuities as part of a broader wealth management strategy.
- Work closely with Schwab’s advisors, clients, and internal partners to deepen client relationships and enhance Schwab's reputation as a trusted financial institution.
- Educate and coach financial consultants on annuity solutions, transferring knowledge and building capability beyond individual advisory work.
- Collaborate with product development, operations, and wealth specialists to ensure solutions remain aligned, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Communicate complex financial concepts by simplifying product features and educating both consultants and clients, ensuring clarity in guidance.
- Build trust and continuity in client interactions, enabling tailored recommendations that enhance both the client experience and advisor effectiveness.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, being self-motivated, organized, and capable of working on-site in specified locations.
Requirements
- Product Expertise: Deep product expertise required to provide credible, specialized guidance to advisors and clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Effective communication of complex financial concepts, simplifying product features, and educating both consultants and clients.
- Organization: Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 6 or 7 license
- Active FINRA Series 63 license (or equivalent)
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Life & Health Insurance License (obtainable within the first 120 days)
- Advanced degrees or certifications including CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®
