Directs the Aftermarket Sales force throughout an assigned Dealer Region and Area of Responsibility (AOR), personally and through subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities
- Lead the Aftermarket Sales Team to Rush Enterprises formal Leadership Standards and Guidelines as outlined by the VP of Aftermarket Sales.
- Hire, train, and develop an Aftermarket Sales Team of multidimensional sales professionals capable of selling a diverse array of products and offerings to cover each local AOR and the overall Region.
- Identify and profile all accounts in each AOR to ensure sales representation to qualifying accounts, assigning those accounts by highest potential to Aftermarket Sales Representatives (ASRs) to drive incremental aftermarket sales growth.
- Maintain continuous focus on sales opportunities within dealerships' AORs, individual ASR performance, and sales penetration of each salesperson’s book of business (BOB).
- Develop sales action plans to maximize account penetration, including specific Parts and Service plans for each account, to grow each ASR’s individual BOB.
- Oversee and maintain sales performance achievement based on ASR sales-to-plan metrics and overall aftermarket department performance.
- Travel throughout the Region with ASRs to call on conquest accounts, high-potential sales accounts, declining sales accounts, and accounts with limited sales penetration.
- Proactively partner with HR Business Partners to monitor and act on ASR sales performance through the Continuous Performance Optimization initiative at least twice per month.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Five or more years in a sales-based role within a multi-location regional function.
- Two to four years in a leadership role preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s insurability guidelines.
- Ability to learn and decipher multiple data analytics tools and implement sales strategies based on ASR sales deficiencies, including sales by department, Parts product categories, and Service repair types.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as direct reports will not be centralized within a single location or group of locations.

Pay
Minimum pay rate: USD $125,000.00 per year. Maximum pay rate: USD $150,000.00 per year.
