Regional Account Representative - Texas First Rentals

Role Overview
Responsible for the retention and continued growth of assigned accounts and the prospecting and development of new business, creating an increase in overall sales and profitability for the Supply Division. The primary focus is to meet and exceed targeted quarterly and annual growth within the portfolio while providing Legendary Customer Service. This position collaborates with various departments throughout the organization to develop strategic ways to provide a positive customer experience and proactively seeks opportunities to increase revenue. The incumbent is expected to model daily alignment with the company’s mission and core values, collaborate with key internal/external resources, and participate in ongoing self‑development.
Essential Functions
- Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Provide Legendary Customer Service to assigned customers and the broader potential customer base.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify enterprise revenue‑gain opportunities within the customer base and prospects, then execute those targets.
- Efficiently and consistently meet/exceed targeted annual growth and portfolio health goals for assigned accounts.
- Serve as the company “expert” on each assigned account and act as liaison to facilitate a positive customer experience.
- Obtain information/data from customers to support sales‑potential growth.
- Perform monthly health checks with customers to maintain robust partnerships.
- Collaborate with leadership/supervisor to conduct quarterly business reviews of the portfolio with each customer.
- Create value with safety initiatives aligned with customers and Texas First Rentals.
- Develop and execute business plans using SMART goals for each assigned target.
- Manage each assigned account, including price structure, accounting lifecycle (in collaboration with Finance), and continuous communication of supply needs internally.
- Meet with customers to review relationship, growth, and commitment.
- Prospect and identify new business on a continual basis.
- Prepare sales plans, expense reports, daily call logs, and sales reports; maintain records of sales or other business transactions.
- Prepare sales quotes as needed.
- Work safely at all times and adhere to all applicable safety policies, company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Expert knowledge of the construction supply industry and market.
- Expert knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales).
- Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long‑term business relationships.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to understand implications of new information for current and future problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Logical reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Driven and results‑oriented; focused on business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
- Minimum of four years of work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience required; three to five years of experience preferred.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive driving required; overnight travel possible.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
This position involves extended periods in a stationary position, with occasional movement inside the office to access machinery, file cabinets, etc. The role frequently communicates with others and must exchange accurate information. Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines) is required.
Work Environment
The job is performed in various settings, including job trailers/sites, plants, warehouses, and offices. Exposure to heat, cold, weather conditions, computer screens, noise, dust, grease, fumes, gases, and other environmental factors is common. The work pace is fast with unscheduled interruptions.
