Regional Account Representative - Texas First Rentals

About the Role
Responsible for the retention and continued growth of assigned accounts and the prospecting and development of new business, creating an increase in overall sales and profitability for the Supply Division. The primary focus is to meet and exceed targeted quarterly and annual growth within the portfolio while providing Legendary Customer Service. This position collaborates with various departments throughout the organization to develop strategic ways to provide a positive customer experience and proactively seeks opportunities to increase revenue. The incumbent is expected to model daily alignment with the company’s mission and core values, collaborate with key internal/external resources, and participate in ongoing self‑development.
Essential Functions
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Provides Legendary Customer Service to assigned customers and the larger potential customer base.
- Collaborates with leadership to identify enterprise opportunities for revenue gain within the customer base and prospects, and executes said targets.
- Efficiently and consistently meets/exceeds targeted annual growth and portfolio health goals for assigned accounts.
- Serves as the company “expert” on each assigned account and acts as a liaison to facilitate a positive customer experience.
- Obtains information/data from customers to support the growth of sales potential.
- Performs monthly health checks with customers to maintain a robust partnership.
- Collaborates with leadership/supervisor to conduct quarterly business reviews of the portfolio with the customer.
- Creates value with safety initiatives in alignment with customers and Texas First Rental.
- Develops and executes business plans using SMART goals with each assigned target.
- Manages each assigned account, including price structure, accounting lifecycle (in collaboration with Finance), and internal communication of supply needs to facilitate legendary service.
- Meets with customers to review relationship, growth, and commitment.
- Prospects and identifies new business on a continual basis.
- Prepares sales plans, expense reports, daily call logs, and sales reports.
- Maintains records of sales or other business transactions.
- Prepares sales quotes as needed.
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Expert knowledge of the construction supply industry and market.
- Expert knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales).
- Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long‑term business relationships.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum of four years of work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience required; three to five years of experience preferred.
- Supervisory responsibilities: None.
- Travel: Extensive driving required; overnight travel possible. Valid driver’s license required.
- Physical Requirements: Extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement inside the office to access machinery, file cabinets, etc. Frequent communication with others; routine use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines).
