Regional Account Manager - New York City / North New York
About the role
This position builds relationships and differentiates Novo Nordisk products in the marketplace, targeting influential stakeholders and decision-makers, including Payers/Regional PBMs, Health Systems with aligned Payers, Municipalities, Coalitions, Specialty Pharmacy, Federal Agencies, and Employers.
Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Differentiates Novo Nordisk products in alignment with customer and patient needs and goals
- Communicates effectively with key decision makers and influencers
- Maintains relationships with external partners and associations
- Ensures informed communication of any access changes or updates within targeted accounts to all appropriate NNI personnel
Requirements
- Masters Product and Disease State Knowledge
- Leverages detailed knowledge of both Novo Nordisk and competitor products
- Previous experience as a people manager preferred
- At least 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech / healthcare industry experience required
- At least 1 year successful account management or other relevant experience within the healthcare market
- Multiple channel and customer experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective customer presentations
Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree required
- Masters Degree in business-relevant field preferred
- At least 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech / healthcare industry experience required
- At least 1 year successful account management or other relevant experience within the healthcare market
- Multiple channel and customer experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective customer presentations

Pay
Base range of pay for this position is $116,810 to $216,100, with the possibility of a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
Schedule
Full-time position with 30-40% overnight travel required.
