About the role

Regeneration Operator 1 oversees the entire process of regenerating mobile equipment, including unloading and reloading resins. The operator performs quality control checks to ensure optimal performance, completes required checklists and documentation, and monitors equipment performance and calibrations. This role requires attention to detail, strong documentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and promote a safe work environment and culture; submit Great Catch Reports as part of EHS Initiative.
  • Operate and monitor regeneration equipment, handle resin unloading and loading processes, and maintain proper equipment parameters during startups and shutdowns.
  • Perform quality control checks of equipment specifications, resin quality, and process effectiveness, including testing pH, conductivity/resistivity, silica, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) using hand meters and other analytical instruments.
  • Document all operational activities, record specifications and testing on Quality Control documents for ISO 9001 compliance, and report equipment issues to the Lead or Maintenance team.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, update shift production logs, and participate in meetings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.
  • Attend assigned safety and other training to stay current with industry standards.
  • Offload hazardous chemicals or waste in accordance with established EHS protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in comparable manufacturing environments involving material handling.
  • 1 year of experience with lab testing/sampling techniques and analytics.
  • Basic Chemical Handling Experience.
  • HS Chemistry knowledge highly desired.
  • 1 year of experience in plumbing, pump, or mechanical repair.
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Warehouse safety and OSHA regulations.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Yard Mule Experience.

Additional Information

  • Ability and willingness to work in various weather conditions (indoor/outdoor).
  • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability and willingness to work in industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for installation and repair if needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays and weekends based on business demand.
