Regency Parts Counterperson

About the role

The Tom Bush Family of Dealerships is growing and seeks a Parts Counterperson to support their award-winning team of more than 360 associates. This role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, confidentiality, and enjoys working in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parts within the dealership inventory.
• Efficiently sourcing and locating parts when inventory levels are low or items are out of stock.
• Managing parts payment collection and ensuring all parts are accurately billed through both the service department and collision repair shop.
• Cooking parts payment collection and ensuring all parts are accurately billed through both the service department and collision repair shop.
• Coordinating the packaging and shipment of parts back to manufacturers as needed, while meticulously completing all required documentation.
• Consulting parts manuals, in both printed and electronic formats, to precisely identify the correct parts based on the vehicle’s make, model, and year.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive parts advisor is required.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and possess strong organizational abilities.
• A professional appearance is essential, along with the availability to work retail hours, including Saturdays (closed Sundays).
• An outgoing personality and a talent for building and maintaining relationships, making you a true "people person."
• Ability to operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with predictable hours. Closed Sundays.
