Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire sales process from start to finish.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and staff.
- Provide accurate updates on parts status to customers.
- Read and interpret the parts catalog to identify the correct components.
- Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and product information.
- Review shop estimates to verify parts accuracy and pricing.
- Deliver high-level service to both internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock and maintain inventory accuracy through weekly bin checks.
- Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock items requiring immediate attention.
- SOURCE and ORDER parts from external suppliers when needed.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed on repair orders.
- Receive payments or process credit authorizations for retail customers.
- Prepare orders for shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior automotive parts sales experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Basic math and able to calculate discounts, percentages, and pricing.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
