Regal Cinemas at Colonie Center is seeking part-time cast members who are passionate about movies and eager to deliver exceptional service, cleanliness, and movie-going experiences to guests in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

Floor Staff/Cast Members are the face of Regal, providing guest service, selling tickets, concessions, and working as ushers. Availability to work weekends is mandatory, while weekday openings/closings are preferred.

Summary

Floor Staff team members are classified based on theatre needs and availability, serving as variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees focusing on exceptional guest service. They may work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as Ushers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Box Office:

  • Operating POS system, handling cash drawer, credit cards, etc., ensuring accuracy.
  • Selling tickets, suggesting premium viewing options, promoting Regal Crown Club.
  • Ensuring compliance with MPAA ratings and company policies.
  • Answering guest inquiries and calls.

• Concession:

  • Operating POS system, managing cash drawer, stock inventory, promoting Crown Club.
  • Preparing and cleaning concession equipment, upselling, complying with food safety laws.
  • Abiding by breaks and meal period rules, obtaining required certifications.

• Usher:

  • Tearing tickets, collecting stubs, directing patrons, inspecting bags.
  • Managing crowd control, assisting with seating, enforcing MPAA ratings, conducting inspections.
  • Reporting issues, maintaining cleanliness, operating vending equipment, assisting with opening/closing duties.

Pay Scale Information

$15.50 per hour.
