About the role

The AST will assist the General Manager to lead and coach your team to provide great experiences for our guests, create an environment where engagement, diversity and showmanship are paramount, set the standard for professionalism and deliver exceptional service, cleanliness, premiere picture and sound, food & beverage.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance
• Upholding and administering all Regal policies and brand standards
• Maintain projection and sound technology
• Monitor risk management
• Ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained
• Optimize profits
• Maintain strict inventory controls
• Conduct full monthly/quarterly inventories
• Complete daily theatre inspections
• Take prompt, appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into repeat guests
• Manage kitchen and bar maintenance
• Manage theatre maintenance
• Control inventory, shortages, and spoilage levels
• Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts
• Measure and assemble ingredients
• Prepare meals
• Rotate stock items
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Ensure food and beverage items are consistently prepared and served
• Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co-workers
• Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities
• Continually set a standard of professionalism for others to follow

Requirements

• Legal age to sell and/or serve alcohol per state and/or local laws
• Working knowledge of all systems in booth and projection technology
• Alcohol certification and training current where applicable
• Food handlers card where applicable
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification
• Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University

Qualifications

• Two years management or supervisory position with experience in restaurant or VIP/luxury theatre concept
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• SDS training
• Food handlers card where applicable
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification
