REG VASC CARDIAC ULTRASOUND TECH - PINNACLE CARDIOVASCULAR

Position Summary

The Registered Vascular and Cardiac Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physicians, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or hold RVT and RDCS Certification
• Minimum Experience: Vascular and cardiac experience Required
• Registration/License/Certification: RVT and/or RDCS certified or eligible and BLS certified upon hire
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year vascular and/or cardiac experience
• PREFERRED REGISTRATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: RVT RDCS and BLS
