Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Respond to emergency service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification in refrigeration or HVAC systems preferred
- 2+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and related safety regulations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites throughout the assigned service area
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Ability to work in cold-temperature environments and wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to climb ladders, use power tools, and perform hands-on manual labor
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and work in a variety of industrial environments for extended periods of time
