Refrigeration Mechanic- Days

Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week – Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Inspect and operate refrigeration equipment, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc., for proper functioning.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including fan motors, electrical connections, thermostats, gauges, and pressure cutouts.
• Install new refrigeration and air conditioning equipment; mount compressor and condenser units, connect tubing, solder joints, etc.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in refrigeration equipment.
• Perform maintenance on all ice machines and water coolers.
• Assist other crafts when required.
• Assist in snow removal and salt spreading, as required.
• Operate M.C. DDC equipment, computers, and software programming.
• Follow departmental Policies and Procedures when performing all duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.
