About the Role
St Mary Medical Center is looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position on the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and operate refrigeration equipment, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc., for proper functioning.
- Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including fan motors, electrical connections, thermostats, gauges, and pressure cutouts.
- Install new refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including mounting compressor and condenser units, connecting tubing, and soldering joints.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in refrigeration equipment.
- Perform maintenance on all ice machines and water coolers.
- Assist other crafts when required.
- Assist in snow removal and salt spreading, as required.
- Follow departmental Policies and Procedures when performing all duties.
- Operate M.C. DDC equipment, computers, and software programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.
