Refrigeration Mechanic

About the role

Bentley Truck Services, Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced diagnostics, major component rebuilds, and complex electrical troubleshooting on transport refrigeration units on Hino and Isuzu trucks. This role may lead projects and provide technical guidance to mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines and refrigeration systems.
• Rebuild engines, transmissions, and major refrigeration components.
• Oversee and perform DOT annual inspections.
• Ensure compliance with federal environmental regulations (EPA refrigerant standards).
• Cook with parts/vendors to ensure repair efficiency.
• Maintain regulatory compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel and transport refrigeration experience.
• Demonstrated expertise with Hino and Isuzu systems preferred.
• EPA certification required (if handling refrigerants).
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.

Pay

Hourly range from $32.00 to $37.00
