We’re growing and actively seeking a dedicated Lead Refrigeration Coordinator to join our team! If you have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, and maintenance services, we want you to bring your skills to our expanding operations. You will play a key role in installing, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing refrigeration and HVAC systems across multiple store locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of rack refrigeration and standalone systems along with HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within refrigeration and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
• Adjusting refrigeration equipment settings remotely and onsite.
• Being on call for store emergencies to make remote adjustments and advising stores and providers of the necessary steps to take to keep the system operational.
• Review and manage work orders and proposals within the ServiceChannel platform ensuring timely and accurate updates along with real-time service approvals for providers.
• Offering informed recommendations on pricing and necessary parts.
• Proactively coordinating with provider account and service managers to resolve recurring or warranty related issues, driving cost savings and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and EPA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Traveling to multiple locations within the Denver Metro and possibly other areas out of state to complete on-site repairs and regular maintenance.
• Working with hand tools, digital tools, and other specialized equipment to complete repair tasks.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including detailed descriptions of services rendered, parts replaced, time spent on each task, refrigerant logging and tracking, and ordering of refrigerant for locations.
• Collaborating with the team and providers to address any equipment failures and ensure quick resolution of issues.
• Responding to repair requests as needed to minimize disruptions to store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Refrigeration Technician or Coordinator within a supermarket or retail environment including CO2 systems required.
• Strong understanding of supermarket rack refrigeration systems, refrigeration cases, frozen cases, standalone systems, HVAC units, and related equipment including CO2 systems.
• Experience working with and programming Emerson controllers.
• Experience working with HVAC systems and components with a strong understanding of Trane equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to travel to various sites within the Denver Metro area and possibly out of state.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling required.
• HVAC/R certification required.
