Refrigeration/Maintenance Tech - Freon Refrigeration Experience Required

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.

About the role

We are seeking a Refrigeration/Maintenance Technician with Freon refrigeration experience to diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs, and maintain our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs
• Follow all safety procedures
• Follow and complete work in the work order system
• Be on call for emergency situations
• Perform any task assigned by management

Requirements

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and freon refrigeration is required
• Must be able to work in the freezer (0-10 degrees)
• Capable of learning basic computer functions
• Capable of keeping accurate records
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions
• Must bring a valid state-issued ID or driver's license, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical

Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Some weekends may be required

Pay

• Pay range: $30-34/hr (starting pay based on experience)
