Refrigeration Maintenance (RF01-RF08) 1st Shift, August Posting, Sedalia MO

About the Role

This position is responsible for working on delivery systems, steam boilers, thermal fluid heaters, HVAC equipment, environmental doors, ice machines, air compressor ammonia piping, valves, and equipment. The role requires working in both hot and cold conditions.

The individual must learn and perform all aspects of the refrigeration department, including but not limited to:

• Cleaning all areas and equipment
• Taking temperatures and machine readings
• Maintaining compressor logs
• General maintenance of refrigeration equipment

Must learn and understand the importance of the process safety management program. The successful candidate must be capable of training in high-tech machinery maintenance and operation and be willing and able to adapt to different situations daily, including reacting to emergency situations when needed.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass and maintain level 4 hazmat requirements
• Six months of previous industrial maintenance experience, including general knowledge of machinery maintenance, lubrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Six months of experience in industrial electrical and pumping systems (must be documented on the Internal Discretionary Employment Application to be considered)

Rehire Criteria

Former Tyson team members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days. Applicants who have worked at Tyson three or more times are not eligible for rehire. Internal applicants will be considered first.
