Refrigeration Hardware Technician 1, Facilities - Pinellas County

Evaluating, Maintaining, and Cleaning Refrigeration Hardware Components

• Evaluate refrigeration hardware components (doors, hardware, fixtures)
• Maintain refrigeration hardware components
• Clean refrigeration hardware components

Responding to Work Requests

• Respond to work requests from retail operations
• Evaluate and repair refrigeration hardware components (doors, hardware, fixtures)

Housekeeping Duties

• Maintain accurate parts inventory

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year working in skilled trades service or construction disciplines OR 2 years in Publix Retail or Operations experience
• Must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license
• Ability to lift/lower/climb ladders/walk on roofs
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, on call rotations and travel with overnight stays

Preferred Qualifications

• Some HVAC School/trade school coursework
