Refrigeration & Air Condition Mechanic (HVAC)

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, decommission, and dispose of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and climate control systems.
• Comply with 3M's CFC Management Policy.
• Use building automation systems (BAS) to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and make repairs to water circulation systems and chemical injection systems.
• Set up, operate, and read precision testing and measuring instruments to specified accuracy.
• Test and treat water circulation systems and chemical injection systems to prevent corrosion, scaling, and biological growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of Industrial HVAC/R experience OR five (5) years of residential HVAC/R experience.
• A two (2) year technical degree or diploma in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, completed and verified prior to start.
• Universal CFC Management Certification.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics and computer skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components.
• Knowledge of local codes governing piping systems.
• Knowledge of CFC Management and required documentation.
• Skills in operating and using various hand tools and testing equipment.

Pay
