Refreshments Operator

About the role

As a Refreshments Operator, you will provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that our customers’ products are stocked appropriately. You will maintain customer equipment, keep it clean, and inform customers of new offers that may interest them. Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stock daily inventory at customer sites, ensuring product freshness by monitoring date codes.
• Manage the ordering, delivery, and stocking of items at client locations.
• Communicate with customer employees about new product interest.
• Use a laptop to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders, and client invoicing.
• Perform minor repairs to the best of your ability; call in orders and service requests to the head office.
• Distribute promotional materials and merchandise the complete product line.
• Clean equipment and exchange decanters on each visit.
• Report pending problems or competitor activity to the Route Sales Manager or General Manager.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers to project a professional company image.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a role requiring interpersonal and customer service skills.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Strong client interaction, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing demands with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Willingness to travel to other locations on short notice.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
