Referral Care Coordinator

Location: Tampa, FL 33613

3+ month contract assignment with possibility of conversion or extension.

About the role

The Referral Care Coordinator is responsible for processing patient referrals, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care to ensure timely patient access to services.

Responsibilities

• Process and track patient referrals.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers.
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and specialty offices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (eCW preferred).
• Provide excellent customer service and support clinic operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Open to entry-level candidates looking to start a career in healthcare support and customer service.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Day Shift)

Pay

$20/hr
