About the Role
Reeves Construction Company is seeking a Bridge Carpenter based in Rock Hill, SC. This role involves assisting bridge carpenters with construction duties, performing various construction tasks, and ensuring timely and efficient project completion. The work requires physical exertion and may involve limited or no prior experience in road or site construction.
Responsibilities
- Perform various labor activities, including but not limited to:
- Shoveling dirt, sand, asphalt, or concrete using shovels
- Cutting or trimming trees and vegetation using ditch blades, sling blades, chain saws, or power weed trimmers
- Driving stakes or breaking concrete using sledge hammers
- Operating hand-driven compaction devices
- Handle, stack, and move formwork and materials
- Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite by cleaning and stacking materials not in use
- Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition work as required
- Assist others during concrete placements, traffic control, and prefabrication tasks
- Work safely within the guidelines of the company’s policies
- Perform any other tasks assigned by a supervisor
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working in bridge construction or a similar field
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Driving license (preferred)

- Hearing should be excellent or corrected by an audio device
