REEVES | Asphalt Paver Screed Operator - Duncan, SC

About the role

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Asphalt Paver Screed Operator based out of Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Needs to have the ability to correctly set up paver screed, lay a uniform thickness.
• An accurate and working knowledge of the paver screed (ex. correct speed, check on material coming out of truck, straight lines).
• The ability to take a leadership role on the crew.
• The willingness and ability to keep paver and screed maintained and clean.
• The willingness to work nights and weekends.
• The ability to operate equipment in a safe and consistent manner.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred), but not necessarily required.
• Minimum of 1-3 months of work-related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to work day or night shifts.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Provide own transportation to and from work.
• Driving License (preferred).
• Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States.
