Bottle and Can Retrieval Centers is recruiting for a Part-Time Redemption Center Associate at our Corning, NY location.

Pay

$17/hour

Schedule

Part-Time
Tuesday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with recycling of bottles, cans, and plastic beverage containers.
• Process and store bottles and cans in an orderly fashion.
• Count beverage containers manually or using technology.
• Use a cash register to complete customer transactions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment around all work areas.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Weekend availability.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Experience in a customer service field.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
