Red Team Operator

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,500 – $187,500 annually

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat emulation exercises to identify vulnerabilities
• Collaborate on purple team exercises to enhance security posture
• Perform lateral movement assessments within networks
• Replicate threat actor techniques to evaluate defenses
• Develop custom tools and scripts for red team operations
• Execute reconnaissance to uncover potential attack vectors
• Evaluate security in cloud environments and configurations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of red teaming and penetration testing experience
• Proven ability to compromise networks and escalate privileges
• Extensive knowledge of phishing and social engineering tactics
• Strong report writing skills with actionable recommendations
• Basic programming skills in Python, Bash, or Git for custom solutions
