Responsibilities
- Serve as the project coordinator for minor remodel projects and large-scale repairs.
- Ensure all Emergency Evacuation Plans are executed according to applicable regulations and maintained within the designated location.
- Track daily tasks and implement or close out work orders within the automation system.
- Pull reports to identify ongoing issues with equipment and provide recommendations for service or repair.
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reports for timely payment of the company's purchase card.
- Partner with Facilities Specialist 1 to perform monthly internal and external inspections of the facility to ensure operations are maintained efficiently.
- Escalate concerns as necessary.
- Maintain an inventory and control the distribution of access keys according to established guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain complex building systems such as HVAC controls, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and backflow prevention systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues within systems or seek external expertise when necessary.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance to sprinkler systems and backflow prevention systems rendered by external vendors.
- Provide backup support and be able to perform all duties of a Facility Specialist 1 when necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies and break-fix as needed based on Region’s discretion.
- Ensure all work meets Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures and compliance and regulation standards.
- Assist the Supervisor with coordinating and providing process, procedure, safety, new product, new equipment, and daily tasks training within the team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work or military experience.
- 4 years experience in maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Intermediate computer knowledge.
- Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
Physical Demands
- The associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The associate must be able to travel frequently by themselves within the US, including overnight.
- The associate must be able to navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility.
- This includes but is not limited to the ability to work in and around all facilities spaces: below grade, rooftop, penthouse, unfinished spaces, crawl spaces and which access to may require climbing a ladder or using a lift.
