Recycler - Nights

Location: Kent, Washington. The Recycler works as part of a team receiving and moving materials around the facility, ensuring safety, timeliness, and efficiency to meet internal and external customer needs.

Schedule

7:00 pm – 7:00 am on a rotating schedule that includes working Friday, Saturday and Sunday every other week.

Pay

Expected salary range: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE) plus a $1.00 per hour night shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Operate shredder and grinders to recycle lineal and die flop scrap from production.
• Operate pulverizers to efficiently respond to materials regrind needs.
• Fill gaylords with various materials from a variety of sources (pulverizers, silos, bags).
• Transport gaylords of powder/regrind material to and from extruder lines or other designated areas.
• Drive forklift to perform work tasks – tow/pull carts, move gaylords, etc., throughout the plant.
• Keep area clean and organized (clean floors, machines).
• Adhere to established standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Previous forklift certification (preferred).
• Good computer proficiency with ability to log into systems and enter data timely and accurately.
• Ability to read and understand weights and measures.
• Detail orientation and math skills, with ability to review work for accuracy.
• Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting up to 40 lb.
