Recycle Quality Assurance Operator

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade scrap bales of material
• Conduct resin checks
• Spot-check process control documents
• Evaluate the quality of purchased materials from suppliers
• Ensure the Recycle Department adheres to Quality Management System (QMS)
• Track supplier performance and fallout rates
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
• Address quality issues and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Additional technical training or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software
