About the role

Heliene is a fast-growing company dedicated to renewable energy solutions. We manufacture high-efficiency solar modules in facilities across Canada and the USA. Our mission is to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and contribute positively to the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality control in pivotal production areas
  • Lead training sessions and back-fill open positions
  • Perform visual inspections and operate framing machines
  • Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines
  • Operate and monitor HMI systems to control manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct quality and testing procedures at each stage of production
  • Communicate with other operators and departments to refill raw materials
  • Replace consumable machine components as needed
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
  • Work closely with the Line Supervisor to address issues on the manufacturing line
  • Follow all health and safety policies
  • Train junior operators
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Work in a fast-paced environment requiring standing for long periods
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive motion tasks

Requirements

  • Age 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience necessary, on-the-job training provided
  • Technical capabilities and manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to maintain production and quality standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to tolerate an assembly line environment
  • Computer experience is considered an asset

Qualifications

  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • Criminal background check and drug screening required

Pay

$22.50 - $23.50/hr, plus night shift premium of $1 per hour

Schedule

Twelve-hour shifts, four on four off rotation
