Application Process

To apply for a position, complete an online application form via NHS Jobs or Trac Jobs. Each job vacancy includes an "apply now" link. You’ll need to create a username and password, allowing you to save and return to your application before the closing date.

Before applying, you may contact the line manager listed on the job vacancy to discuss the role, team, or arrange an informal site visit.

When filling in your personal statement, provide examples for every essential (and desirable, if applicable) criterion listed in the job description and person specification.

Disclosures

During recruitment, you may be asked to disclose whether you are related to an existing staff member, have ever been dismissed by a previous employer, or have any criminal convictions. This helps us assess your suitability for the role.

Pre-Employment Checks

All candidates undergo the following checks in line with NHS Employment Check Standards:

• Proof of address and identity
• Right to work in the UK
• Professional registration and qualifications
• Employment history and referencing (3 years required)
• DBS certificate
• Occupational health clearance

Skilled Worker Sponsorship

From 6 April 2017, skilled worker applicants must present a criminal record certificate from each country where they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18) are also subject to this requirement.

Interview Process

If shortlisted, you will be notified by email or telephone to confirm your interview slot. Prepare examples demonstrating how your skills and experience meet the job specification.

You will need to bring:

• Photographic identification
• Qualification certificates (if applicable)

After your interview, you will receive feedback within a week. If successful, a recruitment team member will contact you to discuss next steps.
