Position
The Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the Career Access Program is a community outreach initiative designed to offer vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Requires an Associate degree (or 60 college credits), or High School Diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience in outreach, social services, or related field providing counseling and placement services.
- The position also requires a demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, including basic computer skills.
Principal Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach efforts to diverse community-based organizations, nonprofits, and city agencies to promote the Career Access Program.
- Deliver presentations about the Career Access Program to various audiences, including community board meetings, nonprofit conferences, and agency events.
- Distribute marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, social media posts) to promote the program and its services.
- Cook up and participate in community events, career fairs, and information sessions to recruit potential program participants.
- Build relationships with community partners, advocacy groups, and local service organizations to expand program reach.
- Identify and engage individuals with disabilities who may benefit from the program’s services.
- Work closely with the Program Manager and team members to ensure a coordinated recruitment, enrollment, and service delivery approach.
