Recruitment Intern
About the role
The Recruiting Intern will partner with the Shared Services Recruiting team to support recruiting and onboarding efforts for Omni Hotels & Resorts. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both talent acquisition and onboarding, while also supporting the transition to our new system, Dayforce.
Responsibilities
- Review resumes and assist with initial candidate pre-screening
- Support recruiting efforts across multiple hotel locations
- Help keep candidates and hiring managers informed throughout the hiring process
- Track and update candidate information in our system (Dayforce)
- Aid in preparing offer letters and initiating new hire paperwork, including I-9s
- Assist with onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
- Support Dayforce-related projects, including data entry, process updates, and general support during the transition
- Partner with HR teams to follow up on onboarding tasks and ensure completion
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking and disposition applicants appropriately
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects
- Help with additional HR and recruiting tasks as needed
Requirements
Some experience in an administrative, customer service, or HR-related role is a plus
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Interest in HR systems or recruiting tools (Dayforce experience is a bonus, not required!)
Able to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
Professional, reliable, and able to handle sensitive information with care
