Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- High-resolution regional climate downscaling of precipitation and temperature for better climate change adaptation over Kerala.
- Proficiency in Atmospheric Modeling, Climate Downscaling, Climate Data Analysis.
- Experience in Fortran/R/Python Coding and working with gridded meteorological datasets.
Requirements
Minimum educational qualifications:
- Masters in Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Climate Science / Physics or equivalent.
- Qualified in National Level Examinations like CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE or equivalent.
Qualifications
Desired qualifications:
- Minimum two years of research experience after Masters degree.
- Proficiency in Atmospheric Modeling, Climate Downscaling, Climate Data Analysis.
- Experience in Fortran/R/Python Coding and working with gridded meteorological datasets.
Pay
Fellowship amount: 35,000/- (As per KSCSTE)
Schedule
Duration of the post: One year (with possibility of extension based on performance).
